Welcome back to your weekly dose of metaverse news. It’s been a great week with Lady Gaga and Ancient Greece both making waves in Fortnite. Also, Forbes magazine opens a plot in the Sandbox! Read on for more details:
Lady Gaga x Fortnite
For Fortnite players who want to just dance, Lady Gaga is headlining Season 2 of Fortnite Festival! The season is inspired by the aesthetic of her last album, Chromatica, from costumes to the look of the stage. Several of her hottest songs have been integrated into the game, like “Poker Face,” and “Rain On Me.” This isn’t a bad romance, try the rhythm based game for yourself if you want to be on the edge of glory.
Fortnite: Ancient Greece
More details on Fortnite’s next chapter have leaked, and things are looking decidedly Grecian.
Recent data mining confirms clues that all point to Ancient Greece with skins inspired by Greek mythology. Evidence was found of Mediterranean architecture, NPCs named after Greek characters, mosaics based on lore, and more. Players can see how accurate the leak was by playing it themselves starting March 8th!
